Living Along The Way
March 1-13, 2004

March finds us in Big Bend Country (Texas). We've started exploring Big Bend National Park, one of the largest (800,000 acres) and least visited of the national parks. From an elevation of less than 2000 feet along the Rio Grande River to nearly 8000 feet in the Chisos Mountains, there are massive canyons, vast desert expanses, and the Chisos Mountains. The vistas are right up there with Yosemite, Zion, and other great national parks.
